Front Desk Agent

We're seeking a Hotel Front Desk Agent to be the initial touchpoint for our guests and oversee every aspect of their stay. Responsibilities include guest registration, reservation management, and offering details on rooms, rates, and amenities. Ultimately, your role is to ensure our guests have a delightful and unforgettable experience.ResponsibilitiesComplete all check-in and check-out proceduresOversee all reservations, including online and phoneComplete room payments and verify identificationInform customers about payment methods and verify their credit card dataWelcome guests upon their arrival and assign roomsProvide information about our hotel, available rooms, rates and amenitiesRespond swiftly to any guest concerns in a professional mannerRespond to clients’ complaints in a timely and professional mannerCollaborate with the housekeeping team and assist the department when neededUp-sell additional facilities and services, when appropriateMaintain updated records of bookings and paymentsPerform other duties as directed and assignedSkillsExcellent communication skills (verbal and written)Strong interpersonal skillsAbility to multitask and prioritize tasks effectivelyProficiency in using office equipment (e.g., phone systems, printers, scanners)Knowledge of office management softwareCustomer service-oriented mindsetAttention to detail and accuracyAbility to handle difficult situations with patience and professionalismRequirementsPrevious hotel / front desk agent experience is preferredCustomer service attitudeMust work well in stressful, high-pressure situations.Willingness to work at peak hours, which may include evenings, holidays, and weekends.Must be effective in handling problems in the workplace, including anticipating, preventing, identifying and solving problems as necessaryExcellent phone etiquette and communication skillsStrong guest relations skills with the ability to provide personalized serviceBenefits:Competitive payEmployee discountsPTO
