Pharmacy Technician

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will support pharmacy operations by preparing and dispensing medications, ensuring patient safety, and providing exceptional patient service. Duties Process and enter prescription orders accurately Prepare, label, and organize medications for pharmacist verification Assist customers with prescription drop-off and pick-up Handle insurance claims, billing, and copay transactions Communicate with prescribers regarding refills and clarifications Maintain inventory, stock shelves, and check expiration dates Follow all HIPAA, state, and federal pharmacy regulations Support daily pharmacy workflow Requirements High school diploma or equivalent Pharmacy Technician certification/license (as required by state) Previous retail pharmacy experience preferred but not required Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Excellent customer service and communication skills Ability to stand for extended periods and multitask Job Type: Part-time Pay: $24.15 - $29.08 per hour Expected hours: No more than 20 per week Work Location: In person
