Job Type: Contract Job Category: IT Job Title: Pro*C Consultant with PL/SQL (Migration to Java) Location: Omaha, NE 68102 (Onsite – 5 Days/Week) Employment Type: Contract Eligibility: Only VISA Independent Candidates Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Pro*C Consultant with strong PL/SQL and Java expertise to support a critical migration project from legacy Pro*C & PL/SQL applications to modern Java-based systems. This is an onsite role in Omaha, NE, requiring strong technical depth and problem-solving skills. Key Responsibilities: Lead and execute migration of Pro*C and PL/SQL applications to Java. Analyze existing systems, identify dependencies, and create migration strategies. Develop and optimize Java code to replicate legacy application functionality. Collaborate with architects, DBAs, and QA teams for seamless integration. Troubleshoot, optimize, and refactor code for performance and maintainability. Required Skills & Experience: 6+ years of overall relevant experience. 5+ years of hands-on experience with Pro*C & PL/SQL. 4+ years of strong Java development experience. Prior experience in application modernization or migration projects. Strong understanding of database structures, query optimization, and stored procedures.
