This role is responsible for HRIS data entry and maintenance, workflow processing, reporting, compliance‑related recordkeeping, onboarding and offboarding support, and general HR administrative coordination. The Human Resources Generalist also provides first‑level support to employees and managers on routine HR, employee relations, HRIS, benefits and leaves, and employment‑related questions while partnering with internal stakeholders to ensure the accurate, timely, and confidential handling of HR information and processes.As a member of our support team working in partnership with teams in the field, a service mindset and a focus on solutions are essential to success in this role.Responsibilities Maintain and update employee records in HR systems, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company policy and applicable lawsProcess personnel transactions in the HRIS, including new hires, transfers, status changes, and separationsMonitor and process HRIS workflows, following up as needed to ensure timely completion and data accuracyMaintain electronic personnel files and support compliance‑related documentation, recordkeeping, and tracking requirementsPerform routine audits of HRIS and employee data and assist in identifying, researching, and correcting discrepancies to maintain data integrityRun standard and ad‑hoc HR reports and support routine data requests for HR, payroll, and leadershipProvide first‑level support to employees and managers on HRIS navigation, workflows, and basic system functionalityEscalate complex system, workflow, or data issues and partner with Sr. HR Manager, Payroll, IT, or vendors as needed for resolutionSupport HRIS updates, testing, process improvements, and implementation of new workflows or system enhancements as assignedMaintain HRIS process documentation, job aids, and standard operating procedures for routine transactions and workflowsAssist with HRIS user access, permissions, and security administration in accordance with company policy and confidentiality requirementsFacilitate onboarding and offboarding processes, including completion of assigned HRIS and administrative tasksTrack and support compliance‑related processes, including I‑9 administration and other required employment documentationProvide general administrative support to the HR department, including handling correspondence, organizing files, and supporting department initiatives and projectsPartner and support Directors of Operation and Practice Managers with performance management, behavioral issues, policy interpretations, corrective action, and conflict resolution conversations, serving as first point of contact for day‑to‑day employee relations matters and partnership with HR leadership to ensure consistency, appropriate escalation, and risk mitigationServe as a backup to other HR functional areas and assist with key deliverables and day‑to‑day team activitiesProvide timely and accurate responses to employees and managers regarding routine HR, HRIS, and employment‑related questions, escalating more complex matters as appropriateSupport daily HR operations and administrative duties, including completing state benefits and pay verification forms and assisting with routine leave of absence administrative requests and data entryPerform other duties as assignedQualifications Strong customer service skills and the ability to respond professionally and effectively to employees, managers, and internal stakeholdersStrong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and maintain effective working relationshipsSound judgment, critical thinking, and the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentialityAbility to prioritize work, manage multiple tasks, and follow through in a timely and accurate mannerAbility to identify issues, communicate status clearly, and elevate concerns appropriatelyStrong attention to detail, organization, and commitment to data accuracy and confidentialityEducation and Experience A High School Diploma or GED is requiredOne to three years of administrative/generalist experience in HR, human resources support, or HRIS is preferred; equivalent administrative experience may be considered for candidates who are systems‑minded and eager to learn HR systems and processesExperience working with HR systems, databases, or other business systems preferredProficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPointDemonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee relations situations and information appropriatelyStrong organizational, time‑management, and follow‑through skillsAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environmentDetail‑oriented with strong problem‑solving and data accuracy skillsPrior UKG system experience strongly preferredPrior experience with leaves of absence, ADA, and benefits administration a plusPrior employee relations experience preferredEqual Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
