Machine Operator

Essential Responsibilities/Duties: Embrace and exemplify our core values (RITE = Respect, Innovation, Teamwork, Excellence). Operating bottle filling equipment, case packing equipment, or press machines Set-up and preparation of the equipment. o Use gages, scales, etc. o Use Hand Tools to complete set-up Efficiently operating the machines in accordance with good manufacturing processes o Must have understanding of machine controls o Must have mechanical aptitude Perform quality checks on products, juice, or packaging as needed Operate equipment to production standards needed by the day's schedule Follow process steps Perform document control Perform other job-related tasks as required. Certifications/Licenses: Not required. Qualifications, Skills and Abilities: High school diploma or GED required with interest in manufacturing. Minimum of 1 year of experience in a food plant manufacturing environment is preferred. Must have at least 1 year prior machine operating experience, with 3 years preferred. Bi-lingual (Spanish/English) is helpful, not required. Strong knowledge of good manufacturing practices (GMP), and food safety preferred. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are required Able to work independently while maintaining a high level of accountability. Maintains a positive outlook and able to work cross-functionally to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes. Exhibits adaptability in working hours and demonstrates the ability to collaborate with all team members. Prolonged periods of time on your feet rotating to various workstations within the manufacturing floor. Night shift and overtime are required with occasional weekend shifts. Noise level is usually moderate. PPE is required on the production floor.
