Senior Services Specialist

Senior Services Specialist is responsible for providing direct delivery of one or more of Catholic Charities Senior Programs which includes Volunteer Services, Senior Companion, and/or RSVP in a designated service area within Central Washington. The position is responsible for client intake assessments, identifying client needs for service, inputting client information in the database, connecting trained volunteers with clients, and other deliverables to meet contract and grant requirements.ResponsibilitiesDeliver quality direct services within one or more Senior Service ProgramComplete client intakes and conduct in-home client assessments as appropriate to ensure client meets priority population for services within the designated programRespond to service requests from clients, relatives, agencies or community members in a timely manner to match volunteers with service requestsDevelop and implement group projects on-site in collaboration with the Senior Services TeamEnsure volunteers accurately complete log for hours of services and mileageMaintain confidentiality according to program and professional standardsMaintain continued quality improvement to increase service delivery and ensure client needs are metMaintain consistent community involvement with community agencies, parishes and other partnersDevelop and maintain good working relationships with local senior services programs Establish relationships with community organizations that are sources of client referralsCollaborate with Volunteer Recruitment Specialist for any local presentations at parishes, businesses, or resource fairs to increase public awareness of services availableCollaborate with Volunteer Recruitment Specialist for volunteer appreciation activities within the local designated service areaComplete documentation and data collection on all services providedMaintain accurate and appropriate records on clients, volunteers, stations, and services provided according to grant and program requirementsSubmit personal timesheet, expense requests, and reports in a timely manner. Monitor volunteer/client matches to ensure service was provided as requestedProvide Grant and Data Specialist information on volunteer hours required for billingParticipate in supervision and team meetingsParticipate in supervision with the Senior Services LeadParticipate in Senior Services team meetingsParticipate in an annual performance evaluation according to the agency guidelines and set goals for individual and team performanceQualificationsPerform other duties as assignedJob RequirementsThe following requirements are those that are normally required for performance of this position.
