Structural Steel SDS Detailer (In-House)

Job description Myrex Industries is seeking an experienced Structural Steel SDS Detailer to be part of our commercial and Industrial in-house SDS detailing team. The candidate must have at least 2-5 years experience with composite steel buildings, poured in place (PIP) structures and tilt-wall panel projects.Overview· We are looking to immediately fill the position with a self-motivated individual hoping to further establish their career in the industry.· Candidates can look forward to competitive compensation and opportunities for growth and development in a rapidly growing company.· Applicants should have immense experience with architectural and structural design drawings· Strong time management skills to meet project deadlines.. Applicant must live in or near Houston, TXResponsibilities:· Modeling and Detailing in SDS/2 and 3D Software (including but not limited to columns, beams, connection details, stairs/rails & ladders)· Must be able to understand and read Contract Documents (Design & Shop drawings, specs,) and engineering calculationsWorking alongside other team members to work as a team to complete/execute each project in a economical and productive mannerWork together as a team to meet or beat project schedules and time linesJob Type: Full-timePay: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per yeaPowered by JazzHR
