Operates spray painting equipment or brushes or rolls paint on surfaces. Airless Spray Equipment PreferredEnsures the painting equipment is properly maintained and in a ready state of operationInspects and maintains painting during all phases of applicationExamines and measures finished surfaces to ensure conformance to specificationsMaintains a clean and organized work area to facilitate manufacturing functionsMaintains safe operations by adhering to FLSmidth safety procedures and regulations.Performs other related duties as assignedAs part of job enrichment, and at the company’s discretion, cross training in other areas will be givenSupervisory ResponsibilitiesThe job has no supervisory responsibilitiesWhat You Bring2 years’ experience preferredIs familiar with various coatings, prep work, and blasting methodsExperience with multi-part epoxies preferredMust have working knowledge of Mil thickness, finish requirements etc.NACE experience an advantageMust have the ability to follow written or verbal instructionsMust have knowledge of health and safety requirements including but not limited to fire hazards, compressed gases, electrical, chemical and mechanical devicesMust be able to pass a respiratory fit testComputer skills: ability to use the computer for time tracking purposes.Physical DemandsThe Physical Demands Described Here Are Representative Of Those That Must Be Met By An Employee To Successfully Perform The Essential Functions Of This Job.
