ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIESSystem Engineering - IIUnder direction, assist in the development or modification of systems and subsystems including:• Functional and empirical analysis related to the design, development, and implementation of hardware, systems and subsystems for products.• Investigating and resolving operational problems in conjunction with other engineering and technical personnel. • Requirements management, analysis and decomposition• System performance modeling, MATLAB coding• System Integration • Hardware/Software Integration and Test• System Test and Verification• Embedded Systems Design and DevelopmentQUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTSBachelor's degree (in Engineering, Computer Science, Math, Physics or related field) or equivalent.INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE2 to 4 years of related experience.Experience:• Minimum of 3 years of experience performing systems engineering activities relative to the design and development of new & existing systems/subsystems software.• Experience with third/fourth generation languages in the design and implementation of systems.• A minimum of 1 year experience in state of the art real-time software design and development is required.AS&T is committed to providing a work environment that is free from unlawful discrimination and harassment in any form.
