Lead
Shift: Monday through Friday 7am to 3pmPosition PurposeThe Lead shall be responsible for the daily oversight and scheduling workflow tasks of the team members.Essential Duties And ResponsibilitiesLead all personnel directly involved with the process in the assigned department.Performs tasks alongside personnel as a team member as necessary and when needed to ensure delivery performance.Training focal point for new team members.Manage department workload by assigning tasks to team members. Team representative for meetings pertaining to team activities, when applicable.Coordinate with production supervisors and planning to ensure customer delivery on time.Ensure that unacceptable quality trends are reported to management when required.Follow up on failure of components and/or product with input into the investigation and corrective action when necessary.Responsible for following all established Vaupell policies, standard operating procedures and safety practices. Other duties as assigned.Job Qualifications/RequirementsHigh School Diploma or GED.2+yearsofleadershipexperiencein related field.Familiarity and ability to perform duties within the assigned department. Should possess good comprehension abilities and a strong math aptitude.Supervisory skills are preferred.Computer literacy including but not limited to Microsoft SuiteThorough knowledge of tools necessary for department.Knowing and understanding specifications of parts.Strong facilitation skills with ability in employee training.Ability to read, speak, understand and follow instructions in English.Must be able to wear and properly use the required personal protective equipment.Candidates must be a “US Person” (i.e. US Citizen or Permanent Resident) to ensure Vaupell's compliance with ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations) and EAR (Export Administration Regulations)Environmental ConditionWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts.
