House Manager PRN
Position SummaryThe PRN House Manager provides flexible residential coverage and support within Ava Health's residential programming. This position helps maintain a safe, structured, and supportive living environment for residents while supporting continuity of operations across residential settings.PRN House Managers may provide scheduled coverage, bridging coverage between shifts, call-out support, and supplemental staffing support based on operational need.This role is designed as a flexible pool position with a maximum expectation of:Up to two (2) twelve-hour shifts per weekOccasional shorter bridging shifts, typically four (4) hours in durationHours are not guaranteed and are scheduled based on program need and staff availability. Responsibilities Provide direct oversight and monitoring of residents to ensure compliance with program rules and house guidelinesFacilitate daily house routines, including meals, chores, curfew compliance, and community activitiesSupport residents through positive engagement, structure, and professional relationship-buildingConduct routine house checks and room inspections to maintain cleanliness and safety standardsCommunicate resident concerns, incidents, and operational issues promptly to clinical leadership and supervisorsAssist residents with accessing resources and support services as appropriateMaintain accurate and timely documentation, logs, and shift communicationSupport continuity of care and operational stability during staffing transitions, schedule gaps, or increased program needSkills and Competencies Commitment to Ava Health's core values of Agency, Service, and PurposeStrong interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to manage conflict and maintain boundaries compassionately and consistentlyAbility to work independently within a structured residential environmentBasic understanding of behavioral health, recovery support, and trauma-informed engagementOrganizational skills and ability to maintain accurate records and documentationFlexibility and adaptability within a dynamic residential environmentQualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; additional coursework in behavioral health, social services, or related fields preferredAt least one (1) year of experience in residential services, behavioral health, recovery support, or related environments preferredCurrent BLS/CPR certification requiredAdditional Requirements Commitment to ongoing professional development and maintaining required certificationsIf in recovery, a minimum of two (2) years of sustained sobriety is requiredAbility to work flexible scheduling based on operational needs, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as neededAbility to successfully function both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary teamEmployment Classification PRN / As-Needed PositionNon-benefited position unless otherwise required by law or Company policyHours and scheduling based on operational need and employee availability
