Position Summary: We are looking for a Supply Planner to be a cross-functional leader within the Supply Chain Planning team. This person will be responsible and accountable for developing and maintaining supply plans that meet customer demand for internal and external manufacturing operational resources while achieving inventory and cost objectives for assigned platforms. Where You'll Work: This role will be based out of our Concord, MA headquarters where you will be immersed in a dynamic workplace where innovation thrives, and collaboration is key. Our company in-office schedule is designed to maximize collaboration & relationship building balanced with flexibility and well-being with 3 days in office and Thursdays/Friday being remote, flex days. ***Welch's is moving to a brand new, state of the art space in Waltham, MA June 2025*** What You'll Do: Create and manage accurate and executable production plans accounting for time-phased capacity, materials, and labor constraints to maintain appropriate inventory levels of materials and finished goods to meet service level targets at your assigned locations. Proactively identify, communicate, and monitor supply risks and develop timely strategies and contingencies to mitigate their impacts. Present assigned product categories at Supply Review meetings. Effectively lead and represent the supply chain as a subject matter expert on cross-functional projects that include new product introductions, product transitions (formulation, graphics changes etc.), supply/demand issues, and discontinuances Analyze slow moving, expiring, and obsolete inventory and drive process improvements to reduce obsolescence and achieve inventory and waste goals Manage the releases of select raw materials used at your assigned locations Perform other support functions and analysis as business requires. Who You Are: Proven quantitative and analytical skills Excellent problem-solving skills and curiosity Proven organizational skills and ability to perform under pressure with the ability to manage priorities with competing demands Strong communication and listening skills with ability to work cross-functionally Self-motivated and driven to work independently, as well as comfortable establishing relationships in group settings and projects What You'll Need: 2+ years supply chain experience required Strong Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word) skills required BS/BA degree required; Supply Chain Mgt; Logistics; Business Analytics preferred. An equivalent combination of education and experience that proves ability to perform role may be considered. Food or CPG industry experience preferred ERP experience desired Supply Chain Certifications (from APICS/ASCM etc.) preferred At Welch's we value diversity, a passion for what you do, and a commitment to continuous learning.
