Multi-Spindle Screw Machine Operator

Job Description E.J. Basler Co. is seeking an experienced Multi-Spindle Screw Machine Operator to join our precision manufacturing team. In this role, you will operate and maintain multiple spindle screw machines to produce high-quality components that meet demanding specifications. This position is ideal for a self-motivated machinist who thrives in a fast-paced production environment. Key ResponsibilitiesSet up and operate multiple spindle screw machines to produce precision partsLoad bar stock and monitor machine cycles during productionAdjust tooling and machine settings to maintain part quality and efficiencyMonitor tool wear and replace or reset tools as neededPerform in-process inspections using micrometers, calipers, and gaugesComplete production documentation and submit parts for final inspectionMaintain equipment, fluids, and work areas in accordance with 5S standardsFollow all safety policies and report equipment or quality issues promptlyWork collaboratively with supervisors and team members to meet production goals QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED preferred5+ years of experience operating multiple spindle screw machinesAbility to read blueprints and interpret work instructionsStrong understanding of shop math and machining principlesProficient with precision measuring instrumentsDependable with strong attention to detail and safety Physical RequirementsAbility to lift 20–50 lbs occasionally and 10–25 lbs frequentlyStanding for extended periods with bending, stooping, and reachingManual dexterity and ability to perform close visual inspections Work EnvironmentManufacturing setting with exposure to noise, oils, coolants, and mechanical equipmentPPE (safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection) required Why Join Us?Hourly Rate: $20.00 – $35.00 per hour (commensurate with experience)Health & Wellness: Medical, Dental, and Vision InsuranceFinancial Security: 401(k) retirement plan and Life InsuranceWork-Life Balance: Paid vacation and paid holidaysAdditional Perks: Short-term & Long-term Disability Insurance and Pre-tax Spending Accounts ITAR Compliance RequirementTo conform to U.S. Government export regulations, applicant must be a (i) U.S. citizen or national, (ii) U.S. lawful, permanent resident (aka green card holder), (iii) Refugee under 8 U.S.C. § 1157, or (iv) Asylee under 8 U.S.C. § 1158, or be eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
