Job Description G-3 Chickadee—formerly part of Goodyear Chemical—is undergoing a major transformation. As a newly independent, Private Equity–backed organization, we are modernizing our infrastructure, implementing new systems (SAP, MES,cybersecurity), and building a strong operational foundation for continued growth.G-3 Chickadee maintains an in-house research effort in the areas of polymers and polymer manufacturing.The Polymer Technology Group operates research labs and small-scale polymerization units in support of the new product and process development efforts of the company.TheTechnician R&D, reporting to the Site Director, is an integral part of this team along with Chemists and Chemical Engineers. This position performs as a machine/equipment and test operator in a laboratory, research or industrial facility.
