HCM Data Engineer

Working with the top medical professionals, they continue to develop new, minimally invasive surgical platforms and future diagnostic tools to help solve complex healthcare challenges around the world.We are seeking an HCM Data Engineer on a contract basis to support our Customer's business needs. This role is 100% remote.ResponsibilitiesData Warehousing:?Design, develop, and maintain data structures that facilitate efficient data processing, storage, and retrieval in an enterprise data warehouse (EDW). SQL:?Proficiently create, debug, and optimize stored procedures, functions, and views to ensure data accuracy and availability. Python:?Leverage Python for scripting and automation tasks, enhancing data workflows and processes. Data Modeling: Efficiently design data pipelines by understanding the project needs and creating Source to Target Mappings (STTM), Technical Specs with a scalable & performant architecture in Snowflake. Data Quality Assurance:?Ensure data quality and integrity by validating and cleansing data, identifying and resolving anomalies, and implementing data quality checks. Collaborative Spirit:?Work closely with cross-functional teams including data analysts, scientists, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver actionable insights. QualificationsMinimum of 12 years of experience in data engineering or related roles. Strong expertise in data warehousing concepts and best practices. Experience with Snowflake data warehousing is ideal. But experience with other DW tools like SQL Server, Oracle, SAP HANA will also be considered. Strong proficiency in SQL programming, including the ability to create and debug stored procedures, functions, and views. Experience with Python for scripting and automation tasks is preferred. Prior experience with data extraction & reporting on HCM data (ex: Workday, OHCM, SAP HCM) is a must. Self-motivated and eager to take ownership of projects. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration.
