Business Analyst
Job Title: Business Analyst Job Summary:The Business Analyst will focus on Enterprise Vendor Management, IT contracts and procurement, and managing enterprise incident and problem data. They will be accountable for the Enterprise Vendor Management process, working with internal customers and external vendors to execute compliance processes. Analyzes current IT products and assets to ensure customer product needs are being met by development work. Manages the reporting of enterprise incident and problem data. May produce online and hard copy documentation and training materials.Essential Functions:Develop stories in Jira to meet changing customer product needsWorks closely with users to roadmap essential product enhancementsUnderstand story complexity and ability to place epics into discrete storiesOwns the Enterprise Vendor Management process and procedures for annual reviews, adjustments, and metric reporting.Sources and works with 3rd parties on overall vendor management, including initial and ongoing screening and evaluation solutions.Ensure Continuous Improvement of processes and resultsEnsures the integrity of enterprise incident and problem management data and reporting.Ensures the integrity of IT contracts and asset data and reporting.Produce reports, analyze data, and develop business cases.Monitor data and system trends for anomalous situations and oversee the execution of resolution.Writes user documentation based on functional requirements.Creates and delivers training programs to all levels of IT professionals and end-users; May also design computer-based training and online help; Delivers training to a variety of audiences, which demonstrates an understanding and application of adult learning principles; Develops and administers tools to measure the results of efforts; documents the value of services provided.Minimum Requirements:ITIL Service Management knowledge and experience – specifically Supplier, Incident, or Problem Management.Jira, Confluence, and other Atlassian product experience a plus.Strong analytical mindset and continuous improvement approachNeed to work in a virtual organization, good communication skills, etc.Have demonstrated ability to work with multiple levels of leadershipStrong writing skillsMust have technical backgroundEducation: Bachelor’s degree preferredExperience: 2-5 years of relevant experienceSupervision: NoCertifications: N/ALanguage Skills:Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
