Este Empleador Participa en E-Verify.**Summary:The Haul Truck Driver position is responsible for operating Articulated Haul Trucks in a safe and appropriate manner. This is a skilled position involving the safe and efficient operation of equipment/trucks. Work will be performed per the supervisor's instruction, free from direct supervision except for more complicated jobs. Haul Truck Driver is responsible for cleaning, maintaining, and securing his/her Haul Truck.Essential Functions:The Haul Truck Driver is responsible for operating trucks to transport and /or stockpile dirt, aggregate, and other materials and/or equipment to various locations on the job site.Use hand-held mobile radio units to coordinate tasks and resources.Ensure adherence to safe work practices and procedures.Help identify hazardous conditions on the job site.Perform other related duties as assignedOperate haul trucks in a safe and effective manner in order to minimize the risk of injury, property damage or loss of life.Performs daily safety and maintenance checksClean trucks as scheduled and/or requiredMaintain the haul truck and advise supervisor of any requirement for maintenance or repairsReport any damage immediately to supervisorUse the haul truck for its intended purpose with little or no assistanceMaintain and turn in daily records of loads hauledEnsure trucks and equipment are safely and securely storedHelp identify hazardous conditions on the job site.Ensure adherence to safe work practices and procedures Supervisory Responsibilities : None. Qualifications:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function and preferably able to perform other tasks satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.Education and/or Experience :Minimum:A valid driver licenseMust have experience with the followingA45 Volvo Articulation Haul TruckCat 740 & 745 Articulation Haul Truckequipment safety Preferred: High School Diploma or GED.
