Environmental Scientist

Description of Work: NTM Engineering is hiring an Environmental Scientist with 1-5 years of experience for a full-time position in our Wayne, PA office. The position involves both fieldwork and office responsibilities, primarily focusing on Phase I Environmental Site Assessments and waste evaluations, which are essential qualifications for this position. Experience with National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) documentation is a plus. Additional responsibilities will include wetland delineations, and other technical tasks to support the Environmental Group. The employee may assist with more complex and/or specialized studies such as lead/asbestos sampling. The position requires travel to project sites and project meetings (including overnight travel) as well as conducting field work in all types of weather and terrain conditions. The applicant must be able to work well in a team, be able to organize and prioritize tasks. Strong work ethic, excellent verbal and written communication, and proficiency in computers. Minimum Training and Experienced Required: Qualified candidates must have a BS in Environmental Science or related degree. Must have 40-hour HAZWOPER Training. Experience with PennDOT, PTC, and PADEP, procedures/regulations a plus.
