This position involves a balance of structural design, project coordination, and technical leadership. Candidates must be able to *commute to our Akron, OH office Monday through Thursday*, with the flexibility to *work remotely on Fridays*. *Key Responsibilities* * Design and analyze structural systems for new construction and renovation projects. * Prepare and review detailed drawings using *AutoCAD*. * Perform structural calculation. * Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineering professionals to ensure structural integrity and regulatory compliance. * Manage project schedules, budgets, and client communication across multiple active assignments. * Draft clear and professional engineering reports, letters, and proposals. * Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and drafters. *Qualifications* * Bachelor’s degree in *Civil or Structural Engineering*. * Minimum 1 *years of experience* in structural design and construction. * Proficient in AutoCAD; experience with Revit and Mathcad preferred. * Strong knowledge of building codes, design principles, and load paths. * Experience with *residential, commercial, and industrial* structures. * Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. * Must be able to *commute to the Akron office Monday–Thursday*; *remote work available on Fridays*. * Must be fully work authorized.
