Detailer Responsibilities Perform vehicle inspections pre and post-detailingClean the interiors and exteriors of vehicles using approved products and proceduresRelocate vehicles to various locations within the body shop.Moving vehicles in and out of the shop.Qualifications5 Years Minimum of previous experience as a Car Detailer is requiredValid Drivers License is requiredHigh level of attention to detailStrong interpersonal communication skillsAbility to meet the physical requirements of the position, including extended periods of walking, bending, and standingStrict adherence to company policies and service standardsSpeak, read, and write EnglishPolisherResponsibilities Polish, buff, and restore the exterior finish of vehiclesRemove scratches, blemishes, and dirtApply waxes, polishes, dyes, and reconditionersPrepare surfaces for buffing by sanding, cleaning, and maskingMatch factory paint texturesInspect vehicles for damageFollow safety proceduresQualifications 5 years or more experience is requiredValid drivers license is requiredAbility to speak, read and write English is a mustConfidence using tools and materialsAttention to detailAbility to perform physical activities like lifting, climbing, and balancingAbility to use hand toolsAdditional tasks Apply ceramic coatsRepair or replace machine partsFit boot spoilers, mud flaps, or side skirtsDisassemble and reassemble machines or equipmentCollect and test cleaning solutions or vapors
