If you’re looking for a role where you can see the impact of your work every day, this is it.________________________________________Why Join Our ACTT Team?Meaningful, mission-driven work with children and familiesHands-on experience in behavioral health and community-based careOpportunities for growth, training, and career advancementCollaborative team environment with strong clinical supportFlexible schedule with a mix of home, community, and team-based work________________________________________What You’ll DoAs a Behavioral Specialist, you’ll provide direct support and skill-building services in real-world settings:Support Youth and FamiliesDeliver one-on-one coaching, behavior support, and psychoeducationTeach daily living, coping, and communication skillsProvide parenting support and guidance to caregiversAssist during crisis situations using safe, effective interventionsLead Care Planning & Progress TrackingFacilitate Child and Family Team meetingsDevelop and monitor person-centered plans focused on strengths and goalsTrack progress and adjust supports to meet changing needsCollaborate with a Clinical TeamWork closely with ACTT team members to ensure coordinated, high-quality careParticipate in team meetings, trainings, and case discussionsSupport families with program tools and technology (including telehealth setup)Engage in Community-Based WorkMeet clients and families in homes, schools, and community settingsTransport clients as needed to support skill-building and activitiesHelp connect families with community resources and supports________________________________________What We’re Looking ForQualified Professional (QP) status required: MA + 1 year experience, ORBA + 2 years experience, ORLicensed/Provisionally Licensed professionalExperience working with children with serious emotional or behavioral needsStrong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently while collaborating within a teamValid North Carolina driver’s license and ability to travel in the community________________________________________What To ExpectThis role includes a flexible schedule (primarily weekdays with some evenings/weekends), community-based work, and participation in a shared on-call rotation. We are committed to fostering a diverse, inclusive workplace and advancing our mission of Hope, Health, and Healing for Generations.RequirementsEducation and Experience RequirementsMust qualify as a QP.QP qualifications: MA in Human Services and has 1 year experience with population - OR - BA in Human Services and has 2 years of experience with population - OR - Licensed or Provisionally Licensed Professional Provider in the field of population served.Must have one year’s experience working with children with serious emotional disturbance.Requires effective communication, decision making, analytical, interpersonal, leadership and professionalism skills and abilities.Must have basic computer and math skills.Must have a valid North Carolina’s Driver’s License.Must submit to and pass pre-employment drug screening, criminal, HCPR and driving checks.Must submit personal car insurance and registration information if transporting clients in own personal vehicle.
