The Beverage Specialist serves as a liaison between the Beverage team members and Front of House Management. Reports to the General Manager of Restaurants and Restaurant Assistant General Manager.Receives all beverage items, supplies and materialsChecks incoming merchandise against order sheets for accuracy in weight, quantity, order specificationsReceives beverage orders: unloads, organizes, and retrieves deliveries; records information; notates shortages and discrepancies; returns unsalable merchandise to suppliersMaintains inventory and delivery records for FOH and related areas as prescribed by Beverage ManagerAssists Beverage manager with admin duties including placing orders as neededNotes all discrepancies in the daily log immediately and informs Beverage ManagerIssues stored items to proper departmental personnel and keeps records of the release of those itemsAssists in stocking or transporting items to the proper location within the storePerforms other duties as required or assignedQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent1+ year of kitchen experienceAbility to perform basic mathematical calculationsJob RequirementsAvailability to work onsite with a flexible scheduleAbility to exert well-paced mobility for up to 8 hours, including standing, walking, bending and squattingAbility to lift up to 50 poundsAbility to use hand truck, cart, box cutter, ladder, label maker and cleaning suppliesCompensation: The base rate for this position is $22-$24 per hour.Additional InformationBenefits and PerksMedical, Dental, Vision InsurancePaid Time OffPaid Parental Leave401K with match or RRSPFree family meal dailyDiscounts at EatalyClasses on products and Italian cuisineReferral bonus programand more!Eataly is an equal employment opportunity employer.
