We are hiring Full time medical Assistant with Great benefits and pay!Job DescriptionThe Bilingual Medical Assistant supports a busy primary care clinic by ensuring efficient client check-in, preparing clients and examination rooms for medical visits, and assisting providers with clinical procedures and documentation. This role combines direct patient care, clinical support, and administrative tasks within an Electronic Health Record system to help deliver safe, timely, and compassionate care to a diverse client population.ResponsibilitiesEnsure proper and timely check-in of clients and prepare clients for medical examinations.Coordinate client flow throughout the clinic to support efficient and smooth operations.Collect, transport, disinfect, and prepare instruments for sterilization in accordance with established policies and procedures.Verify proper client identification using at least two approved client identifiers at all appropriate points of care.Escort clients to appropriate areas throughout the clinic in a courteous and professional manner.Prepare and complete laboratory orders and requisitions, ensuring proper specimen collection, labeling, processing, and documentation using at least two patient identifiers.Ensure specimens are properly packaged and securely enclosed for transport to the laboratory.Assist medical providers with examinations, procedures, and diagnostic testing as needed..Make outbound phone calls to clients and document all communication in the EHR as requested by providers.Required SkillsMust be Certified or Registered Medical Assistant.Fluency in Creole and English.At least 1 year of experience working as a Medical Assistant.Phlebotomy and blood draw skills to support laboratory testing needs.INTERESTED IN THIS ROLE?
