About AchieversAchievers Early College Prep Charter School (AECP) is New Jersey’s first public charter school for students in middle school and high school that provides them with the unique opportunity to pursue one of four STEAM pathways (Health Sciences, Digital Media, Audio Engineering and Cisco Computer Networking). Students can have access to a program that allows them to earn up to 60 college credits, NOCTI credentials and workplace training. Experience with diverse populations and cultural sensitivity is a must. Duties include but are not limited to the following:Perform hearing, vision and other health screeningsTreat students and staff as neededPrepare incident reports for student and staff injuriesDevelop care plans for students with ongoing conditionsConsult with teachers, school administrators and other school staff regarding student careAdminister medicationMonitor student immunization recordsEducate students and staff on health proceduresHelp students who have feeding disabilitiesEssential QualificationsA minimum degree of Bachelor's of Science in Nursing or Registered Nurse License is required.Candidate possessing a Standard School Nurse Certificate (CSN) for the state of NJ and will have all professional licenses and required training up to date is highly preferredExperience working in collaboration with other nurses and with students.Demonstrated compliance experience required.
