Industrial and Energy Account Representative

Job Description: Promote 3MTM Advanced Materials products in Industrial and Energy marketsGenerate end-use material approvals for products used in Industrial and Energy applicationsLead spec-in activity of Advanced Materials products with OEMs and tier suppliersImplement action plans for material approvalsProvide market intelligence for setting appropriate strategies and tacticsSupport internal promotion of Advanced Materials productsCollaborate with innovative teams globallyRequirements: Current, valid Driver's LicenseBachelor's degree or higher from an accredited institutionSeven (7) years of experience in the Industrial, Energy, Aerospace, Automotive and/or defense industry as an Application/Product Development Engineer or Materials Engineer or Sales Engineer in a private, public, government or military environmentBachelor's degree or higher in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical or Materials Engineering from an accredited universityTen (10) years of Industrial and/or experience primarily in the area of materials engineering.Experience working with the senior management of a large corporation.Understanding of Industrial specification process.Experience in technical support activities with customersExperience in part design, development and validationStrong problem solving/troubleshooting skillsExcellent communication and presentation skills (verbal and written)Strong people skills and ability to work with cross-functional teamAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneously and accommodate changing circumstancesProven leadership skillsAbility to work with conflicting, delayed or ambiguous information.Benefits: Medical, Dental & VisionHealth Savings AccountsHealth Care & Dependent Care Flexible Spending AccountsDisability BenefitsLife InsuranceVoluntary BenefitsPaid AbsencesRetirement Benefits
