Echo Technician | Los Osos, California (Hiring Immediately)

Opportunity for an experienced Echo Tech with a strong background in cardiac imaging. This role requires expertise in Echocardiography and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care. The position is ideal for professionals with an excellent understanding of cardiac sonography procedures who are comfortable in a dynamic clinical environment involving variable shifts and on-call responsibilities.Schedule: Day Shift: 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM 3 x 12-hour shifts Thursday and Friday required, with rotating weekends Alternate option: Thursday and Friday at primary campus, variable day at secondary campus, plus every other weekend on call at primary campus On-call required: Every evening following a worked shift (6:30 PM - 6:00 AM), and additional every other weekend on call as described Extra shifts available at sister campus Qualifications: Active BLS (Basic Life Support) certification Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International - Registered Cardiac Sonographer (CCI-RCS), required RVT (Registered Vascular Technologist) preferred Minimum of 2 years' recent professional experience in echocardiography/imaging Demonstrated proficiency with cardiac imaging equipment and echo procedures Key Responsibilities: Perform a variety of echocardiographic examinations including transthoracic, stress, and contrast studies according to established protocols Accurately acquire and interpret cardiac images for review by physicians Maintain detailed and accurate patient records and test results Collaborate closely with physicians and nursing staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes Participate in on-call rotation and respond to urgent imaging needs Adhere strictly to safety and infection control requirements Discover the opportunity for professional growth while utilizing your advanced imaging expertise.
