Network Optimization Lead

As a Network Optimization Lead - Data Architect you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and collecting structured and unstructured data sets for analysis and reporting. You will report to the Director of Network Optimization.
Key Accountabilities
You will create reports, projections, models, and presentations to support business strategy.
You will be responsible for developing blueprints for data repositories, evaluating software platforms, and integrating systems.
You will communicate business needs with IT professionals to establish long-term data architecture solutions.
You will leverage large sets of structured and unstructured data to develop tactical and strategic insights.
You will collaborate with analytic and data teams to set objectives, approaches, and work plans.
You will research new analytical methodologies, approaches, and solutions.
You will develop and validate statistical forecasting models and tools.
You will interpret and communicate analytic results to analytical and non-analytical business partners and executive decision makers.
You will design user interfaces, visualizations, and data algorithms to make complex data more usable for leaders to derive insights and make better business decisions.
Required Qualifications
Our Department of Defense Contract requires U.S. citizenship for this position.
Successfully receive interim approval for government security clearance (NBIS - National Background Investigation Service).
HGB is not authorized to do work in Puerto Rico per our government contract. We are not able to hire candidates that are currently living in Puerto Rico.
Bachelor's degree.
10 years in systems development or data architecture work.
10 years in Military or Government related field of work.
5 years in healthcare or financial field of work.
Experience with SQL (including ability to build queries from scratch, join disparate data sets together, and how to optimize code).
Experience with programming languages - such as Java, C++, and/or Python, data architecture, and systems development.
Experience with complex data extraction.
Knowledge of the healthcare data structures, including EMR and claims.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Common Table Expressions (CTEs) breaking complex queries into modular blocks.
Proficiency in business analytics, metrics/reports, and healthcare applications.
Experience with recursive queries to navigate hierarchical data structures.
Work at Home Requirements
At minimum, a download speed of 25 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps is recommended; wireless, wired cable or DSL connection is suggested.
Satellite, cellular and microwave connection can be used only if approved by leadership.
Associates who live and work from Home in the state of California, Illinois, Montana, or South Dakota will be provided a bi-weekly payment for their internet expense.
Humana will provide Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates with telephone equipment appropriate to meet the business requirements for their position/job.
Work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information.
Travel: While this is a remote position, occasional travel to Humana's offices for training or meetings may be required.

Pay Range
$115,200 - $158,400 per year
This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
