Fitter Helper
Job TitleIn this role, you will assist Fitters and Welders in fitting and welding tasks such as positioning and aligning structural metal components in the fabrication of steel structures.Job ResponsibilitiesOperate punches, grinders, drills, saws, oxy-fuel torches, and other basic equipment and hand tools.Clean work area and restock supplies and materials as necessary.May assist in lifting, positioning, and securing materials and work pieces during installation.May perform minor maintenance or cleaning activities of journeyman's tools and equipment.Perform other routine duties as directed by an experienced craft person.Manually move, lift, and transfer material and safely operate overhead cranes.Education/ExperienceHigh school diploma preferred.Specific Knowledge, Skills, License, CertificationsFollow specific directions.Perform a variety of duties which may often change.Work within standards of accuracy.Repeat tasks of short duration according to a set procedure; evaluate information using measurable standards.BenefitsHaskell offers a very robust and comprehensive benefits package!
