Sr Developer Snowflake Data Platform (MDM)

Overview In this role you will architect, optimize, and secure our Snowflake environment to serve as the single source of truth for data analytics. You will work within the MDM team to design scalable data models, streamline ingestion from sources like Salesforce, and ensure governance and security across the stack. You’ll partner with BI, retail services, and data engineers to translate complex business needs into robust data solutions. This position offers hands-on work with cloud data warehousing at scale and meaningful impact on reporting and analytics. You will be supported to grow through mentorship and cross-functional collaboration. ResponsibilitiesMaintain and evolve the Snowflake data platform as platform ownerDesign and implement star/snowflake schemas to support MDM workflowsCollaborate on data ingestion pipelines with data engineering (e.g., Salesforce)Break down business requirements into technical designs and sprint-ready tasksParticipate in Agile planning and stand-ups to estimate effort and track progressAssess impact of schema changes on Tableau reporting and MDM lifecyclesConfigure access control, RBAC, and data masking for securityBridge BI, Retail services, and other teams to deliver high-performance solutionsProvide Tier-2 support for complex issuesMentor junior team members on the data analytics stack and workflows Key requirements3–5 years of experience with Snowflake or similar cloud data platformsStrong data warehousing concepts and MDM lifecycle understandingSQL proficiency with complex, optimized queriesPython for automating data workflowsTableau familiarity and Salesforce data structures understandingProficiency with Jira and documenting technical specificationsProblem-solving for multi-layered technical issuesCross-functional collaborationMentorship and knowledge sharingAnalytical mindset and problem solvingSnowflake architecture and data modelingRBAC and data masking securityStar/Snowflake schema design
