Systems Analyst
Grady Management Inc., one of the area’s leading property management firms, is currently seeking a Systems Analyst to join our team based in the Silver Spring, MD office. The incumbent will be responsible for ensuring that IT resources are meeting the availability, performance, and functionality needs of the organization.
Primary Responsibilities:
· Prepare and monitor for disaster recovery, including backups of servers.
· Provide repair and upgrades for hardware, networks, and software.
· Install, set up, and maintain appropriate server software (Anti-Malware/Spyware, etc.).
· Develop bid specifications (quotes) as GMI policy requires for new and replacement hardware and software.
· Provide help desk support for Property Management System - Real Page Products
· Provide help desk support/assistance for advanced hardware, software, and operating systems, including desktops, LANs, servers, and printers/copiers (both remotely and on-site)
· Configures end-user PCs, including laptops & wireless devices, to conform to our company’s business needs.
· Responsible for ordering, coordinating, and tracking the purchasing function, including all necessary follow-ups.
· Maintains/assigns e-mail and Insurance program users.
· Train users on computer hardware, spam filters, computer peripherals, and security software.
· Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
Qualifications and Requirements:
· IT Technical Support experience or a combination of a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Technical school with a related field of study.
· Experience researching and supporting IT infrastructures.
· Knowledge of firewalls, routers, and switches.
· Understanding of and use of access technologies. e.g., Virtual Private Network, Remote Desktop Protocol etc.
· Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
· Ability to explain in layperson’s terms the use of desktop/laptop computer-related technology.
· Ability to understand issues (in layperson’s terms) and transfer knowledge for computer issues resolution.
· Strong analytical problem-solving abilities through experience as well as research.
· Attention to detail.
· Strong customer service focus.

Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour
