Senior Software EngineerActs as a senior technical team member of a software development team and provides business support for the production systems in assigned business units. Participates in all phases of the system development life cycle. Recommends designs, develops, integrates, and implements custom and packaged solutions to achieve business goals. Delivers solutions that are fit for purpose and meets overall quality standards. Leverages internal client relationships to resolve complex support issues.Major Accountabilities:Lead in project analysis, design, and implementation phasesAnalyze project requirements and accordingly provide advanced technical and functional recommendationsPrepare user requirements, technical specifications, and design specificationsDevelop new software and modify existing software to meet complex business needs when requiredSuggest coding standards and participate in Peer Code Review processesLead technical support of system acceptance testing and validation activitiesUnderstand and follow agile project processes as prescribedFollow existing engineering processes and recommend improvementsPerform system maintenance and support periodic review processesReview and recommend continuous improvements to existing system designsRecommend solutions to improve system performance and reliabilityRespond to customer queries and concerns in a timely fashion. Suggest new designs to eliminate future issues.Collaborate with teammates and business partners regarding new ideas, issues and projectsPerform system failure analysis and drive corrective actions.
