Client Service Specialist
To assist Financial Advisors and Paraplanners in managing and organizing office work flow at an expert level. The main focus of this position is to help the advisor with all client financial planning needs including, meeting prep for plan meetings, running report, creating/tracking deliverables and client communication regarding the planning process.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations, Designations Preferred: Series 7, Series 66 and life & health
Responsibilities
Financial Planning Assistance:
· Enter and update client data into Naviplan
· Review and interpret financial statements sent in by clients
· Create a dialogue with clients during financial planning process and assist them with:
o Questions on outside accounts and account held with Ameriprise
o Money movement needs
o Bank Authorizations
Assist with Deliverables
Help with completion
Upload to the home office for review
Client Service
Complete trades and transactions with direction from advisor
Create applications and new business as needed
Track in Status Manager
Assist with rebalancing portfolios for Brent’s clients
Track inherited RMDs
Call clients to discuss distribution requests
Track certificates and create follow up tasks in CRM
Track in Status Manager
Create scheduling campaigns for advisors
Track Managed Account Reviews
Help onboard new clients
Create client profiles
Setup accounts
Sit in on client meeting and take notes as needed
Write summary letters as needed
Administrative Assistance:
Maintain client flies and upload necessary planning documents
Plan and prioritize own work schedule
Complete miscellaneous projects in a timely manner as assigned by Advisor

Education and/or Experience:
o Two years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
o Continuing education – Lifelong learning is expected.
Language Skills:
o Able to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations
o Able to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
o Able to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
o Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential and mandatory
Computer Skills:
o Able to use MS Excel, MS Word, Outlook, Adobe, Teams, accounting software, contact management systems, database software and other software tools as necessary
Technical duties, tasks, and skills:
o Able to process Money Movement requests
o Able to prepare and understand a financial plan
o Able to navigate the Ameriprise Financial website and guide clients through the website

· It is essential that the Client Service Specialist role has a high degree of integrity, honesty, commitment and trust. The financial health, image and goodwill of the company are highly influenced by the person holding this position.
· The successful Client Service Specialist will have excellent inter and intra personal relationship skills, effective communication skills and the willingness to show empathy and understanding for various points of view.
· Able to communicate with clients in a professional, clear and concise manner is essential.
· The Client Service Specialist must exercise discretion in dealing with the personal information of clients.
Physical Demands:
This position requires the ability to handle significant levels of varied stresses, in particular mental stresses and fatigues. This position operates in a fast paced, highly regulated and ever-changing environment. There are no significant physical demands other than the endurance required to deal with the fast pace and stresses.
Work Environment:
The work environment is typical office work such as you would find in a bank, insurance business, accounting firm, law firm or other professional office. There are no unusual or significant hazards and reasonable accommodations can usually be made.

Pay: $17.60 - $20.89 per hour
