The ideal candidatewill have basic food preparation experience, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to food safety andquality. The Line Cook is responsible for preparing and cooking menu items, ensuring food safety, andmaintaining a clean and efficient kitchen.RESPONSIBILITIES• Prepare and cook food items according to established recipes and standards.• Ensure food safety and sanitation guidelines are met at all times.• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including workstations and storage areas.• Assist with ingredient prep, portioning, and stocking kitchen supplies as needed.• Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality and consistency.• Follow all safety and company policies, including proper use of kitchen equipment.• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth kitchenoperations.COMPETENCIES• Thoroughness - Pays attention to details, ensuring food quality and kitchen cleanliness.• Teamwork Orientation - Works well with others and fosters a collaborative work environment.• Time Management - Manages time effectively in a fast-paced kitchen setting.• Technical Capacity - Understands and follows basic food preparation and safety procedures.REQUIREMENTS• Previous food preparation or line cook experience preferred.• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.• Strong work ethic and reliability.• High School Diploma or GED preferred.• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.• Reliable transportation to and from work.ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS• ServSafe certification is a plus but not required.• Experience working in a high-volume kitchen environment is preferred.
