This role is responsible for leading and delivering high-impact projects across shared services functions such as HR, Finance, Operations, Diversity and Inclusion, and Facilities. The ideal candidate brings strong communication and leadership skills, broad experience managing both technical and non-technical projects, and a proven ability to drive teams forward. We’re looking for a strong collaborator who energizes cross-functional teams, builds alignment in matrixed environments, and has a track record of delivering business-critical initiatives on time, within scope, and on budget.Experience with HR-related initiatives is a plus. We’re seeking a motivated professional who thrives in a purpose-driven environment, values inclusion, and is energized by leading projects that support our mission to create meaningful work opportunities for people with disabilities.Key Responsibilities Project Management – 65%Define and manage project scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and budgets.Facilitate workshops and working sessions for planning, requirements gathering, and process improvement.Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans using tools such as Asana.Lead cross-functional teams, coordinate activities, and drive decision-making to keep projects on track.Proactively manage project risks, issues, dependencies, and changes in alignment with governance protocols.Provide timely updates to stakeholders and leadership through reports, dashboards, and presentations.Ensure adherence to EPMO standards, templates, and methodologies.Conduct post-project reviews, capture lessons learned, and support knowledge transfer. Communication, Collaboration & Change Management – 15%3. Training & Development – 10%Promote the adoption of project management standards, tools, and practices across Relay teams.Lead or support training sessions (e.g., Asana onboarding, workplan development, project management methodology).Contribute to the creation and continuous improvement of EPMO resources, templates, and best practices. Documentation & Reporting – 10%Maintain accurate and complete project documentation.Monitor performance metrics and generate progress reports for project sponsors and leadership.Support portfolio-level tracking and reporting, ensuring visibility into project and program performanceRequirementsMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, operations, public administration, or a related field.Experience: 7+ years of proven work experience as a Project Manager or similar role; self-motivated, with a strong sense of accountability, urgency, and drive.Skills:Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills with the ability to energize and motivate cross-functional teams.Demonstrated experience driving results in both technical and non-technical project environments.Experience delivering projects across HR, Finance, Operations, Facilities, or Diversity & Inclusion functions (HR project experience a strong plus).Proven ability to work effectively in a matrixed organization and build alignment across diverse stakeholder groups.Skilled in leveraging Agile and Waterfall methodologies to achieve results.Ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously and adapt to shifting priorities.Highly organized, process-oriented, and detail-driven with strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.Hands-on experience with project management platforms (Asana preferred).Proficiency with Microsoft 365 products including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Loom, Forms, and Outlook.Strong alignment with Relay Resources’ mission and values, including a commitment to disability inclusion, equity, and continuous improvement.Ability to operate with a high degree of accountability and independence in a flexible and remote-friendly environment.Preferred QualificationsProject Management certification (PMP, CAPM).Change Management certification (e.g., PROSCI, CCMP) and/or demonstrated experience supporting organizational change.Experience leading HR-related projects (e.g., talent systems, employee experience, workforce initiatives).Knowledge, Skills, And AbilitiesProven ability to inspire, energize, and support teams from project initiation through successful implementation.Strong collaborator and active listener, able to foster trust and alignment across all levels of the organization.Confidence in navigating ambiguity and complexity in dynamic, results-oriented environments.Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to anticipate risks and propose effective solutions.Adept at reviewing deliverables for quality, completeness, and compliance with established standards.Ownership mindset with persistence to see tasks through to completion while knowing when to seek input.Commitment to Relay Resources’ values: Justice, Equity, Strengths, Impact, and Growth.SCOPE & ACCOUNTABILITYPerforms duties with moderate supervision and growing autonomy.
