Technical Writer

We're hiring on behalf of a Haystack partner!The Role• Create and revise user manuals, quick reference guides, and other product documentation for hardware components.• Utilize graphic design tools to develop and modify technical illustrations and product images.• Collaborate closely with engineers and other writers to gather necessary technical data and schematics.• Maintain accurate revision history records for all documentation to ensure they are kept up-to-date.• Prepare and submit daily and weekly status reports on documentation progress.What You'll Need• Bachelor's degree in English, Technical Writing, or Technical Communications.• Proficiency in desktop publishing tools including industry-standard software like Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Microsoft Word, and MadCap Flare.• A minimum of two years of experience in technical writing and creating technical illustrations, preferably within computer hardware.• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.• Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with individuals from diverse backgrounds.What's On Offer• Competitive annual salary of $85,000 - $95,000 plus bonus potential.• Comprehensive benefits package including health insurance and paid time off.• Opportunities for professional development and career growth within a dynamic company.• A collaborative team environment that fosters innovation and teamwork.Apply via Haystack today!
