Position Overview We are supporting Odessa Memorial Healthcare Center in seeking an Emergency Medical Technician to serve on the front lines of care. As an Emergency Medical Technician, you will provide emergency medical care in pre-hospital settings, assist patients during transport, and respond to urgent situations across the community. You will work closely with the hospital team and local volunteer fire department to deliver safe, efficient, and life-saving care. What You Will Do Provide basic or intermediate life support in emergency situations Respond to emergency medical services calls and transport patients safely to care facilities Assist medical providers during emergency response and stabilization Operate emergency vehicles, equipment, and communication systems Work collaboratively with volunteer fire department personnel Perform patient assessments and deliver care within Washington State scope of practice Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all patient interactions Ensure all equipment, vehicles, and supplies are clean, stocked, and ready Participate in emergency response scenarios including rescues and evacuations Remain calm and effective in high-stress, fast-paced situations What Makes This Role Different You are not just responding to calls.
