You’ll be responsible for the full lifecycle of algorithmic development—from theoretical feasibility and data gathering to high-performance implementation in C++ and Python—ensuring the next generation of microchips can be manufactured with flawless precision.The Role Lead the research, design, and implementation of complex algorithmic modules for defect detection, metrology, and image analysis. Perform feasibility studies for classical Computer Vision and DL-based algorithms, including literature reviews and prototyping. Collaborate across functional teams (Software, Systems, and Apps) to productize new solutions that meet stringent hardware specifications. Optimize high-performance algorithms to minimize computational cost and influence future hardware requirements. Prototype mission-critical solutions for semiconductor use cases using TensorFlow, PyTorch, and AI coding tools.What You'll Need Deep expertise in Computer Vision, Image Processing, and Deep Learning (PhD with 4+ years or Master’s with 7+ years of experience). Strong proficiency in C++, Python, and MATLAB for algorithm development and optimization. Proven experience with deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch. Domain knowledge within the semiconductor industry or advanced manufacturing optics. Excellent analytical problem-solving skills and the ability to translate complex customer use cases into technical specifications.What's On Offer Highly competitive salary range: $161,000 - $221,000 per year.
