At the Ideal Tridon Group, connections aren't just what we make-they're the heart of everything we do.We are seekingHand Assemblers for our Smyrna TN plant on 1st Shift!Schedule: Monday-FridayShift: 1st: 7:00am-3:00pmHourly Pay Rate: $18.50Job Summary:The Hand Assembly will assemble the housing and screw to the band.Duties & Responsibilities:\nPerforms manual assembly tasks, such as sorting, counting, labeling, and packaging components or products.\nVerify packaging is free of loose components, debris, setup parts, or test parts.\nVisually check the station to make sure all tooling is correct and clinch finger is tight in place.\nCheck components to prints to make sure the correct parts are in the tray.\nVerify the components with the travel cards and the work order cards as a double check.\nTurn on the machine.\nLook over machine to make sure all guards are in place and light curtains in good working condition.\nPlace band and housing on the mandrel and press with your foot on the foot pedal.\nPerform the quality checks as required by the control plan and fill out all the documentation.\nGages used must be handled and stored properly and returned to inspection station after use. If a gage is found to be damaged or non-functional, discontinue use and return to gage lab.\nMaking sure to take the correct steps to ensure product shipment\nFollows detailed instructions and diagrams to assemble items accurately.\nIdentifies and reports any defects or discrepancies in the assembly process.\nMaintains cleanliness and organization of the assembly area.\nEnsures compliance with safety procedures and guidelines.\nReads blueprints, schematics, or similar documentation, then builds to those specifications.\nUses various machines and hand tools to accomplish assigned tasks.\nMaintains logs, records, and reports concerning production, machine maintenance, and product inconsistencies.\nMaintains equipment and conveyors and performs basic repairs when needed.\nCollaborates with team members to meet production targets and deadlines.\nAdhere to company policies and procedures.Performs other related duties as assigned.\n\n\nRequired Skills & Abilities:\nProficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software as necessary to complete logs or records.\nAbility to read and understand blueprints and schematics.\nDetail-oriented and consistent.\nWorks well as a productive member of a team.\nAbility to properly maintain and perform basic repairs on equipment.\nBasic ability in mathematics, reading, or writing.\n\nEducation & Experience:\nHigh school diploma or equivalent is required.\nOne year of related machine operation experience required.\n\nPhysical Requirements:\nProlonged periods of standing, walking, and/or sitting and reaching with hands and arms.\nMay occasionally climb stairs, drive vehicles, and operate equipment.\nMust be able to lift 40 pounds at a time.\n\nAn Equal Opportunity EmployerWe do not discriminate based on race, color, religion, national origin, sex, age, disability, genetic information, or any other status protected by law or regulation.
