Security Engineer
🔹 Key Responsibilities• Design, develop, deploy, and support enterprise security automations and custom security tools• Build Python-based automations, scripts, APIs, SDK integrations, dashboards, and command-line utilities• Develop automated workflows for alert enrichment, incident response, triage, notifications, containment, escalation, and reporting• Develop tools for CVE vetting, vulnerability enrichment, prioritization, and tracking• Integrate security platforms with ticketing, case management, identity, notification, and other enterprise systems• Support IAM, including provisioning/deprovisioning, access reviews, RBAC, service accounts, API credentials, authentication, and authorization• Deploy, patch, monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain Linux and Docker-based environments• Support security platforms including SIEM, SOAR, XDR, DSPM, ASM, vulnerability management, endpoint security, email security, cloud security, logging, monitoring, and threat intelligence• Troubleshoot complex issues across applications, security platforms, operating systems, networks, identity services, and integrations• Support SOC analysts, incident responders, security engineers, architects, and agency stakeholders• Develop technical documentation, runbooks, procedures, and knowledge-transfer materials🔹 Required Skills✅ Broad hands-on security engineering experience✅ Strong Python, PowerShell, and Bash scripting✅ Experience with REST APIs, JSON, YAML, SDKs, and system integrations✅ Strong Linux administration experience✅ Experience with enterprise cybersecurity technologies such as IAM, SIEM, SOAR, XDR, DSPM, ASM, vulnerability management, endpoint/email security, cloud security, and logging/monitoring✅ Strong troubleshooting and systems integration skills✅ Understanding of security architecture, networking, access control, incident response, secure development, and cybersecurity frameworks🔹 Preferred• Large enterprise, shared-services, managed-services, or multi-tenant environment experience• Linux + Docker + security sensor/collector administration• Experience supporting SOC and incident response teams• Experience with Palo Alto Networks, Proofpoint, Tenable, Cribl, WhatsUp Gold (WUG) or similar technologies• Experience developing security playbooks, runbooks, and technical documentation🎓 Education & Experience• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Security, or related field• 8+ years of relevant experience; equivalent experience may substitute for education• 5+ years supporting large IT environments, security systems, software development, and/or system deployments🏆 Preferred CertificationsCISSP | Security+ | GIAC | Linux | Python | Cloud | IAM | Other relevant cybersecurity certifications
