Data Specialist

Compensation Base pay range: $23.00/hr – $27.72/hr (actual pay based on skills and experience). Job Overview Data Specialist position at Net2Source, located in Franklin Lakes, New Jersey. Hybrid schedule (on site Mon-Thu, work from home Friday). 12+ month contract (extendable), W2 pay of $27.72/hr. Role supports Client's Business Transparency Reporting function. Responsibilities Identify, extract, and research invoice and supporting documentation, collaborating with stakeholders to validate transaction details and purposes. Remediate and format data for upload to the Transparency data processing and reporting tool. Perform high-volume data validation and reconciliation activities to ensure accuracy and completeness. Support additional processes approved by Corporate Business Transparency. Identify and prioritize gaps in business processes, data controls, systems, and provide recommendations to the Business Transparency team. Carry out operational tasks, such as managing third-party vendor spend and cross-functional sub-certification activities. Education and Experience Undergraduate/Graduate degree, or in lieu of a degree, minimum 2 years relevant data analysis experience. Must Have Skills Comfortable with data mining and manipulation across different file types. Strong interpersonal/communication skills, self-motivated, sense of urgency and accountability. Demonstrated attention to detail. Ability to work independently and appropriately escalates or follows up for clarity. Experience with Microsoft Office. Basic proficiency in Excel (data entry, formatting, simple formulas, sorting, filtering). Preferred Skills Intermediate proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, conditional formatting, data validation, PivotTables). Team player who wants to learn and accept additional responsibilities. Compliance mindset and ability to build partnerships and communicate across stakeholders. Experience with SAP (Release 4.0 or above).
