Starting Wage: $34.93 + $2.30 shift differential Shift: All shifts could include mandatory overtime 1st shift: 5:48am-4:18pm Monday-Thursday 2nd shift: 4:48pm-3:18am Monday-Thursday Weekend Shift: 6:00am-6:30pm Friday-Sunday Location: Faribault South, MN What's in it for you: Paid Time Offand Holiday Pay Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance Plans Pension Plan funded by Daikin Tuition Reimbursement Referral Bonus Program Growth Opportunities Climate Controlled FacilityYour Responsibilities:Connect and operate test stand unit and adjusts controls as necessary to meet specificationsAbility to locate and identify the safe testing amperage and voltageRead schematics and blueprints to ensure proper assemblyAbility to use computer test software effectivelyComplete required test documentation in a timely mannerIdentify, troubleshoot and resolve unit performance abnormalities within electrical and refrigeration systemsCommunicate the status of the test process to team members and supervisorsEffective use of specialized and basic tools necessary to complete test processTrain new members on the various machines, procedures, safe work practices and any pertinent items regarding safety, quality and productionResponsible for maintaining the 5s program to ensure a clean work areaFollow and understand HOMESafe, Personal Choice and company safety manual requirementsIdentify and rework defective work pieces to comply with quality standardsRead and interpret blueprints, sketches or product specifications to determine sequence and methods of fabricating, assembling and installing sheet metal products, including machine adjustments and material requirements per engineering requirementsAbility to use hand toolsOperate PIT (Powered Industrial Trucks)All other duties as assignedYour Qualifications:The ability to lift, push, and/or pull materials, stand for majority of the shift, and work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while maintaining proper PPE.The ability to use hand tools for extended periods of time.The ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English.High School Education/GED OR Minimum 2 years of related experience in a manufacturing/production environment.2-year trade school (EPA) certificate in A/C Refrigeration or equivalent education approved by companyYour Benefits:Multiple Medical insurance plan options + Dental and Vision insuranceEmployer contributed pension of $2.50 per hour worked into a pension plan managed by the Local 480Company provided life insurance + optional employee paid voluntary life insurance, dependent life coverage and voluntary accident coverageShort term disability and optional employee paid voluntary long-term disability80 hours paid time off for new employees, prorated based on start date88 hours company paid holidays48 hours of paid sick and safe time, prorated based on start dateTuition Reimbursement after 6 months of continuous serviceWork visa sponsorship is not available for this position.If you're looking for an engaging career with growth opportunities in a supportive environment, you'll love a career at Daikin Applied!
