Infant Toddler Aide (MSHS - Seasonal Full Time) Gooding MSHS Jardin De Los Ninos - Gooding - Gooding, ID 83330Salary Range $15.45 - $15.45 Hourly Level Entry Position Type Seasonal Full-Time Job Shift Day Education Level High School / GED Travel Percentage Negligible Category EducationDescription Infant Toddler AideStatus: Non-Exempt / Hourly Reports to: Infant Toddler TeacherThis position is considered Seasonal Full-Time, with an approximate start date in March/April and running through December, including some downtime during the off-peak period.Some Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Full list of duties located on official job description)Assist Teacher with planning and conducting a classroom instructional curriculum and activities, for assigned children, that encourages growth of language, social, emotional, physical, intellectual, and communication skillsAssist in daily health checks of childrenAssist in conducting and monitoring developmental screening of children, assist in implementing Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSPs) for familiesMonitor the progress of individual childrenSupervise classroom activities in the absence of the TeacherAbility to help maintain clear, reasonable, consistent, and age-appropriate rules and expectations for childrenMay perform duties of bus monitor once trainedAbility to multi-task, manage time, meet deadlines, and remain calm and professional under pressureMaintain standards of confidentiality of CC Idaho clients and recordsCC Idaho policies, procedures, safety practice, and Head Start Performance StandardsQualifications/Benefits QualificationsRequiredHigh School Diploma or GEDCurrent driver's license and proof of auto insuranceMust pass physical examination and background checks, including state day care clearanceMust obtain clearance of TuberculosisMust obtain Pedatric First Aid and CPR certificationPreferredAbility to read, speak, and write in both English/Spanish in a business setting6 months of experience teaching or in early educationInfant/Toddler Child Development Associate credential (CDA)Required Physical DemandsFrequently required to stand, walk, sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, and/or crawl; to reach with hands and arms; to climb or balance; and smellThe employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 30 poundsWork EnvironmentWork in an office or classroom setting; may be exposed to electrical shock and fumes or airborne particles; the work may be stressful; the noise level is moderate to elevatedBENEFITS:CCI is a strong, non-profit agency to work with.
