This individual will serve as the first point of contact for patients and play a key role in ensuring smooth front office operations and exceptional patient service.Key ResponsibilitiesAnswer and direct incoming phone calls in a professional mannerGreet and assist patients upon arrivalSchedule and confirm patient appointmentsVerify patient insurance information and eligibilityRegister and discharge patients accuratelyPrepare, organize, and maintain patient files and documentationEnsure confidentiality and accuracy of patient informationProvide excellent customer service to patients, families, and staffAssist with general administrative and clerical duties as neededQualificationsPrevious medical office or healthcare administrative experience preferredKnowledge of medical terminology is a plusStrong computer and data entry skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to multitask in a fast-paced environmentProfessional appearance and demeanorStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsPreferred SkillsExperience with electronic medical records (EMR) systemsInsurance verification experienceAppointment scheduling experience in a medical setting
