This role focuses on designing and supporting electrical distribution infrastructure that delivers power to homes, businesses, and communities. You’ll work alongside experienced engineers and field teams to help ensure safe, reliable, and efficient energy delivery.Key Responsibilities:Assist in the design of electrical distribution systems (overhead and underground)Support analysis such as load flow, voltage drop, and fault calculationsWork with equipment including transformers, substations, and protective devicesUtilize tools such as AutoCAD and other engineering softwareHelp evaluate new service requests and infrastructure needsCoordinate with project teams, contractors, and field personnelSupport outage response and system reliability improvementsMaintain accurate system and asset documentationQualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field requiredExposure to power systems or electrical distribution (academic or internship)Experience with AutoCAD or similar design tools preferredGIS knowledge is a plusStrong problem-solving and analytical skillsAbility to work on-site in Auburn, AL
