You will be a deep technical expert on how Avathon's software delivers technical value and how it is configured and deployed into customer environments. You will use your technical expertise and hands-on analytic capabilities to understand, communicate, and validate the customer’s data and environment against the solution requirements.Join Us InPartnering with Product and Services teams to stay up-to-date on capabilities, roadmap, and technical deliveryClearly messaging the technical value and limitations of our products in presentations and conversationsDeveloping and delivering technical content to share across the broader team to help Marketing and Sales message the solution capabilities to both technical and non-technical audiencesGaining customer trust by asking pointed questions and being an excellent listener during calls and meetingsExceeding customer expectations with regards to responsiveness, professionalism, and honestyValidating and mapping customer technical requirements to Avathon product capabilities while taking into account the available data, IT infrastructure, and security requirements.Consolidating and communicating customer feedback to product and marketing teamsProviding web and in-person product and data presentations and demonstrations of Avathon's software to potential customers and partnersBuilding and delivering demos using customer data to tell meaningful stories while documenting your work for both internal and external collateralKeeping excellent documentation of all customer interactionsScoping and writing customer proposals and responding to RFPsScoping and delivering Proof of Concept engagements using customer provided dataYou'll HaveAt least 8 years experience as a PreSales engineer, software engineer, technical sales, technical consulting, or similar work experienceAt least 5 years demonstrated experience with Python and familiar with Jupyter Notebooks, Pandas, and other libraries to visualize and model data using cloud-based VMs (Google, Azure, AWS)At least 6 years experience in customer facing rolesA certificate or demonstrated experience in Data Science or Machine LearningExcellent written and verbal communication skillsExcellent listening and documentation skillsDemonstrated leadership in coordinating and driving cross-functional effortsFlexibility to travel 20% or as business needs requireIt Would Be Great If You HadExperience working in industrial environments with direct exposure to industrial safety, operations, and equipment maintenance programsExperience with computer vision or vision-based AI modelingExperience or a desire to participate in public speaking and promoting thought leadership in the domain of applied AIExperience configuring and deploying cloud services for compute and data storageWhat are the benefits and perks at Avathon?Below are some highlights we offer to our U.S. full-time employees - we’d love to connect and share more!Evolving culture with the opportunity to drive new ideas and technologyStock Option GrantsMedical Coverage, and Parental Leave Plans401k with Employer MatchMonthly Technology AllowanceNewly renovated office space located near Pleasanton, CA - including fully stocked beverage and snack areas!Contract and temporary roles are not eligible for the above benefits.Pay Range: $225k OTE salary. Pay for this position is based on a number of factors including geographic location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This role is not remote.
