Manufacturing Customer Service Representative
About the Role We are seeking a Manufacturing Customer Service Representative to support and manage customer accounts. This role is central to ensuring an exceptional customer experience while maintaining accuracy and efficiency in a fast-paced, production-driven environment.The ideal candidate has prior customer service experience within a manufacturing or industrial company, is comfortable handling complex orders and logistics, and enjoys solving problems that make a real impact.Responsibilities● Support manufacturing customers by processing orders, tracking shipments, and resolving order-related issues.● Serve as a point of contact for escalated concerns, ensuring timely and accurate resolutions.● Accurately enter sales orders and quotes, maintain order confirmations, and ensure lead times are clearly communicated.● Monitor and respond to inquiries from shared inboxes and inbound calls.● Provide reporting on orders, backlogs, and customer requests.● Identify opportunities to improve processes, documentation, and workflow efficiency.● Collaborate with internal departments to ensure accurate production and on-time delivery.● Assist with RMA processing and additional administrative tasks as needed.Qualifications● High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent (required).● Previous customer service experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment (required).● Proficiency in ERP systems (required); Salesforce experience a plus.● Strong verbal and written communication skills.● Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.● Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel Pivot Tables, Outlook, Word).● Ability to work effectively within a small, collaborative team.Why Join Us?● Be part of a stable, growing manufacturing organization with a strong reputation.● Play a key role in serving global customers and driving customer satisfaction.● Enjoy a supportive, team-oriented environment with room for professional growth.
