Quality Engineer II

Maintain quality control system and documents, which may include but are not limited to: procedures, audits, controls, corrective actions, and calibrationsMaintain control of procedural documents; write new procedures; revise existing procedures; ensure procedural complianceConduct internal audits, document findings and follow up on corrective actionPerform root cause analysis for internal issues and customer complaints; make recommendations for solutionsMaintain records of quality issues, corrective action and general quality statistics; report on quality performance to managementInspect components and material; insure compliance with blueprint requirementsWork with external venders to ensure quality standards are met; work with Purchasing and suppliers on material quality issuesWork with customers on PPAP submittalsBuild control plans for our processSupport our lab testing and calibrationsIssue RMAs for customer concerns/product returnsBack up to Quality manager for all Quality functionsBachelor's degree in related fieldThree (3) or more years experience a quality position; manufacturing preferredProficiency with measuring tools: micrometers, calibers, comparator, gages, etc.Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects in a timely mannerDrive issues to closure
