Learning & Enablement Specialist

Akkodis is seeking a Learning & Enablement Specialist for a 12-18-month Contract position. Ideally looking for applicants with a solid background in the financial industry with some Learning and development experience.Rate: $41-46/hr W2. The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.We are seeking a highly skilled Learning & Enablement Specialist to drive continuous learning, operational excellence, and enabling maturity across our organization. This role is responsible for designing and facilitating learning sessions, enabling teams on enterprise tooling (Jira Align, Jira, Confluence), and supporting CIO teams in adopting best in class delivery practices.The ideal candidate blends expertise in agile frameworks, enterprise work management tools, and project management-with the creativity and communication skills needed to simplify the complex and engage diverse audiences.Key Responsibilities:Learning Facilitation & EnablementDesign, lead, and facilitate engaging learning sessions, workshops, and recurring enablement forums for teams across the enterprise.Develop learning materials, playbooks, job aids, and interactive content supporting project delivery and DevEx tools & practices.Serve as a coach and facilitator for teams needing guidance tooling and processes.Jira Align & Jira ExpertiseProvide handson guidance to teams on Jira Align for strategic planning, road mapping, work alignment, and portfolio visibility.Assist with Jira board configuration, workflow optimization, and reporting to support efficient team operations.Support leaders and PMs in effectively using the tools to their advantage.Project & Program Management SupportApply project management best practices, frameworks, and governance standards to help teams plan, execute, and monitor work effectively.Partner with delivery leaders to optimize processes, remove impediments, and enhance crossteam alignment.Contribute to continuous improvement of delivery methodologies, intake processes, and reporting models.Confluence Content DevelopmentBuild, manage, and maintain structured Confluence spaces, including coding pages using macros, templates, and advanced formatting.Develop knowledge repositories that are intuitive, searchable, and tailored to different user groups.Leverage Confluence to automate, simplify, and scale documentation practices across the organization.Required Qualifications:3+ years facilitating learning sessions, training, or workshops for technical and nontechnical audiences.Comfortable with formulas, pivot tables, charts, and cleaning data. Identifying errors, duplicates, missing values, or inconsistencies.Hands on experience configuring and supporting Jira Align in an enterprise environment.Strong knowledge of Jira workflows, structures, and reporting.Ability to create advanced Confluence pages utilizing macros, HTML/CSS, or custom templates.Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to translate complex topics into simple concepts.
