Our portfolio includes poultry, beef, egg, alternative protein, salt, oils, starches, sweeteners, cocoa and chocolate.**Job Purpose and Impact**The Transportation Carrier Representative will work with transportation company to move available freight within the organization's brokerage network. In this role, you will handle relationships with a moderately complex portfolio of carriers through prospecting and onboarding activities to ensure efficient, cost effective and profitable movement of goods for the organization.**Key Accountabilities**+ Partner with respective teams to support the placement of a moderately complex carrier portfolio, standard operating processes, available capacity and quality services.+ Engage frequently with key carrier contacts to establish relationships.+ Communicate with key carrier contacts on service issues and provide resolution.+ Maintain data and prepare reports in the organization's operating system to ensure accurate and timely information and relevant buying decisions.+ Participate in negotiations to support bids, price and service commitments which fulfill profit goals and service requirements.+ Provide contributions to continuous improvement activities related to carrier opportunities, best practices, industry developments and events.+ Independently solve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.+ Other duties as assigned**Qualifications****Minimum Qualifications**+ Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience+ Minimum requirement of 2 years of relevant work experience.Equal Opportunity Employer, including Disability/Vet
