Assembly Technician

Well-Funded Series A Start-up – Designs & Manufactures LiDAR-on-a-chip technology for 3D sensingWe are seeking skilled Technician's to join our team in the assembly and testing of advanced LIDAR sensors. You will perform sub-assembly and final assembly of components, including PCBs, flex circuits, and mechanical parts, ensuring precise integration and functionality. You will conduct electrical and functional testing to validate sensor performance, package and label finished units for shipment & maintain accurate inventory records.QualificationsAssociate degree or hands-on technical training in electronics, mechatronics, or a related field.2+ years of hands-on experience in electronic or electromechanical assembly and testing.Skilled in high-precision electronics sub- and final assembly, using hand tools, gages, fixtures, and performing basic electrical testing and calibrationComfortable reading assembly drawings, test procedures, and work instructionsDetail-oriented, organized, and dependable.Able to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced lab environment.Preferred QualificationsExperience assembling or testing LIDAR, optical, or sensor systems.Familiarity with inventory or build-tracking systems.Prior experience training or mentoring other technicians.Understanding of cleanroom or ESD-safe handling practices.
